Get More Life Out of Your Life

MEET CHRISTINA

Christina is an architect, writer, long-distance walker, and proud dog mom to Bella. She was born in Placitas, a small village tucked between the Sandia Mountains and the desert of New Mexico, and raised nearby in Albuquerque. Those early years gave her a love of wide skies, thoughtful conversation, and a deep sense of curiosity about the world and the people in it.

Christina studied architecture at the University of Notre Dame and later earned her MBA there, majoring in finance, digital marketing, and strategy. Today, she is a licensed architect who believes our lives — much like our homes — are built one intentional choice at a time. For the past decade, Christina has lived near the ocean in Florida, creating a life which makes room for creativity, movement, and meaning.

Walking is one of the ways Christina make sense of the world. She has walked 500 miles across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, trekked the West Highland Way through Scotland, and hiked in the Arctic Circle. When she’s not on the trail, you will usually find her writing, cooking and baking something comforting, rowing on the river, or moving slowly through yoga or qigong.

People describe Christina as endlessly curious, kind, determined, and full of hope. After her father passed away when she was 26, she made a promise to live with gratitude and to choose curiosity over fear. This promise shapes how Christina move through the world, how she connect with others, and why she encourages people to build brave, beautiful lives.

Design

Christina brings a rare perspective to design. She was raised in a small village in the desert of New Mexico in a passive solar home designed and built by her father. This was her introduction to architecture and how it shapes the way a family lives.

Christina trained in classical and traditional architecture at The University of Notre Dame and designed luxury residential projects in Florida, the Caribbean, and around the United States. She returned to Notre Dame to pursue an MBA, followed by time at a Fortune 20 company.

Newsletter

Tell Me Something True is a place to pause and pay attention. Each Sunday, Christina writes about what she noticed internally and in the world around her through stories, questions, and lived experience.

Christina’s newsletters explore creative work, transitions, resistance, travel, home, wellbeing, and the quiet commitments that shape a life over time. Alongside longer reflections, she share a rapid-fire glimpse into her week: what she is reading, cooking, walking through, listening to, thinking about, and learning.

This Substack is for people who feel called to build a life that reflects who they are becoming, not who they once thought they had to be. It’s for anyone navigating change, returning to old dreams, or simply wanting a steadier rhythm in a fragmented world. Christina hopes readers leave feeling more grounded, more curious, and a little more connected to themselves and to others.

Podcast

Hey Sunshine! will be a space for thoughtful conversations about how a brave and beautiful life is built: one choice, ritual, and season at a time. Some episodes will be solo reflections; others will be conversational and feel more like meaningful voice notes exchanged with people I trust: friends, creatives, and fellow travelers who are living intentionally and asking deep questions about their lives.

Episodes will be short and intentional, typically 15–20 minutes, and will explore the choices behind Christina’s life. Rather than presenting a polished end result, these conversations focus on the process: how a life is shaped over time through curiosity, discipline, rest, and brave decisions.

If you have ever felt called to create something, change direction, or live with more intention and weren’t sure where to start, this space will be for you. You’re invited to listen in, reflect, and take what resonates back into your own life.

RESOURCES

Resources is where Christina gathers the voices and tools which keep her curious. Here you will find the podcasts she returns to on long walks and quiet mornings, chosen because each one has taught her something about design, business, storytelling, or how to live with a little more intention. Over time this collection will grow to include articles worth your attention, recordings of past webinars, and practical guides.

SHOP

When fully stocked, this will be a curated collection of products Christina uses and genuinely loves in her everyday life. She is intentional about what she brings into her home. Christina chooses quality over quantity, timeless design over trends, and items which are both beautiful and functional. Many are products she has used for years and trusts to hold up to daily life. Christina cares about how things are made, the values of the companies behind them, and whether something is built to last rather than be replaced.

In the future, you can expect to find clothing, home goods, kitchen tools, bath and body essentials, wellness items, and a few thoughtfully chosen travel staples. Christina’s hope is this shop becomes a helpful, curated resource, a place where you can discover reliable, thoughtfully designed items which make life feel a little simpler and more beautiful.
