I am an architect, writer, long-distance walker, and proud dog mom to Bella. I was born in Placitas, a small village tucked between the Sandia Mountains and the desert of New Mexico, and raised nearby in Albuquerque. Those early years gave me a love of wide skies, thoughtful conversation, and a deep sense of curiosity about the world and the people in it.
I studied architecture at the University of Notre Dame and later earned my MBA there, with a focus on finance, digital marketing, and strategy. Today, I am a licensed architect who believes our lives — much like our homes — are built one intentional choice at a time. For the past decade, I have lived near the ocean in Florida, creating a life which makes room for creativity, movement, and meaning.
Walking is one of the ways I make sense of the world. I have walked 500 miles across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, trekked the West Highland Way through Scotland, and hiked in the Arctic Circle — not to prove anything, but because walking helps me pay attention. When I’m not on the trail, you’ll usually find me writing, cooking and baking something comforting, rowing on the river, or moving slowly through yoga or qigong.
People describe me as endlessly curious, kind, determined, and full of hope. After my father passed away when I was 26, I made a promise to live with gratitude and to choose curiosity over fear. This promise shapes how I move through the world, how I connect with others, and how I encourage people to build brave, beautiful lives.
