Wellness
Wellness is the foundation which allows me to show up fully in every part of my life. Over the years, wellness has taken different forms: rowing, long-distance walking, a yoga practice which began in college, sunrise qigong at the beach, and now a deeper commitment to meditation and breathwork. I dedicate my mornings to these practices because how I begin the day shapes everything that follows. Movement, stillness, and time outdoors help me stay grounded, strong, and connected to myself.
I view wellness as mental and emotional care, not only physical fitness. Working with a therapist, journaling, and being thoughtful about the inputs I allow into my life are all part of tending to my nervous system. I prioritize sleep, nourishing food, hydration, and a schedule which leaves room for rest, because a calm body supports a clear mind. People often describe me as peaceful, and this is not accidental, it is the result of daily choices which favor balance over burnout. My hope is to encourage others to slow down, look inward, and build steady practices which help them move through the world with more ease, resilience, and joy.
